Biography
Kobra Sheikheh, also known as Daya Kobra, was a 59-year-old woman from Mahabad. She was described as kind, freedom-loving, courageous, and devoted to her family, as well as a hardworking and resilient individual who stood with the youth of her city. She was killed on October 27, 2022, in Mahabad, by direct gunfire from security forces during protests that followed the funeral of Esmail Moloudi, another victim of the nationwide uprisings. At her own funeral, people chanted, "Kobra, Kobra, your martyrdom is blessed."
کبری شیخه، معروف به دایه کبری، زنی ۵۹ ساله اهل مهاباد بود. او فردی مهربان، آزادیخواه، شجاع و خانوادهدوست، و همچنین زنی زحمتکش و مقاوم توصیف شده است که همواره در کنار جوانان شهرش ایستاد. وی در تاریخ ۵ آبان ۱۴۰۱ (۲۷ اکتبر ۲۰۲۲) در مهاباد، با شلیک مستقیم گلوله نیروهای امنیتی در جریان اعتراضات پس از مراسم خاکسپاری اسماعیل مولودی، از دیگر جانباختگان خیزش سراسری، کشته شد. در مراسم خاکسپاری او، مردم شعار «کبری، کبری، شهادتت مبارک» سر دادند.
